چکیده
BACKGROUND: Introduction and use of various tonometry methods can lead to misinterpretation intraocular pressure results influence the choice treating approaches by ophthalmologist in a glaucoma patient.
AIM: To compare pneumotonometry rebound with Maklakovs applanation develop corrections for their comparability.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study included 75 patients. All subjects underwent Maklakov (10 g) pachymetry (Topcon SP-3000P). In 48 patients (94 eyes) 1st group, (TONOREF II Nidek) was performed, 27 2nd group (52 (iCare IC-100).
RESULTS: mean difference level 4.81 (p 0.001), 0.98 mmHg = 0.399). Both pneumo- showed underestimated less than 23.0 22.5 (respectively) relative and, conversely, overestimated when these values were exceeded. A significant 0.001) strong (R2 0.86) relationship between obtained, which made it possible, using regression analysis, formula recalculating iCare into those tonometry: PMaklakov 0.40 PiCare + 13.44.
CONCLUSIONS: demonstrate adequate P0 below overestimate are developed allows converting tonometry.

[Rebound tonometry in a clinical setting. Comparison with applanation tonometry].
PURPOSE Rebound tonometry has recently been modified for its use in humans. The purpose of our study was to determine the precision of the ICare(R) rebound tonometer (RBT) as compared with the Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT). METHODS Patients were recruited from our Hospital's Glaucoma Unit. In each patient, intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured without anaesthesia using the RBT and te...
متن کاملGoldmann applanation tonometry versus i-care rebound tonometry
T he main purpose of my study was to compare the i-care tonometer to the Goldmann in terms of accuracy. Obviously when it comes to measuring IOP, accuracy is the most important aspect of any method of tonometry. However, there are other things to consider... patient comfort, repeatability (both inter and intra-practitioner) and who can actually use the device. So not only did I record the IOP r...
